If this is true, whoever made the rules was pretty shit.
I think; instead of having a financial system whereby people are rewarded with money for completing tasks, doing things for others etc, we should be rewarded with the ability to remove people with contrasting personalities from our own consciousness. E.g. the other person doesn't necessarily die, you just become completely unaware of them, perhaps if they tried to interact with you you'd somehow unconsciously interact back, but you have no recollection of it ever happening. This way instead of becoming "rich" financially you would just be generally more comfortable in life and not have to deal with people who are just annoying, cause uncomfortableness and conflict in life. Then someone who is "successful" and works hard would exist in his consciousness in a totally peaceful and agreeing world.
Perhaps this could be criticised as just "Ignorance is bliss", but is a complete ignorance toward something ever achievable? Because to ignore something being there you have to first be aware of it being there. So you'll always know its there. unless of course its totally unimportant, but then of course it wouldn't really need to be ignored to achieve "bliss".
If the world did actually work like this, it would be the only conceivable way I could agree with capitalism.
Silly world.
Farewell.
